Wigs are not returnable, this is a health and safety law which we abide by for your protection.
General Orders
For wig orders of three or less composed of wig styles offered on our wig page please use the "add to cart buttons" and complete you purchase through the PayPal shopping cart. You will receive an email confirmation from the Gypsy's Needle with the "mail by" date for your wig, please remember that general wig orders are filled and mailed within four weeks. For example if you purchase a "Jessie" wig on April, 01, 2009 your "mail by" date would be April 29. Our general order wigs are shipped USPS Priority mail and take approximately 2-4 business days, however, they can take as long as 10 days. The Post Office does NOT guarantee the speed of priority mail. We can only promise the wig to be shipped on or before the mail by date. Shipping time is added to order time. If you need a wig faster than this timeline you need to comply with out rush order policy.
Rush Orders
For wig orders with a required "ship by" date less than the four weeks described above please fill out the attached form and email it directly.
Rush order wigs incur significant additional costs due to, rush shipping paid for ordering stock, placing general orders on "hold" while filling a rush order and, additional shipping required to meet a shortened "ship by" date. Shipping rates for these wigs are determined by client needs and postage available through the USPS for example, Priority, 2nd day air, or Overnight. Due to nature of these orders we invoice them directly and expect payment in full within two business days, failure to do so may change your "mail by" date and possibly cancel your order. If for any reason we are not able to fill a rush order we will notify you promptly by email and will not generate an invoice. We do our best to work with theater groups with short timelines, the best results will be achieved by filling out the request form completely. We will not be responsible for lost time due to missing information needed to complete a rush order.
Custom Orders
If you love the look of our wigs currently offered but do not see exactly what you have in mind we do take custom orders. If you would like to place a custom order with us please fill out the custom order form and email it to us directly. We require an image for custom work. Custom orders are for clients who desire a unique look they will not bump into at an event. This process requires good communication. We will email images of a custom wig for approval before shipping. Custom wigs are time consuming and detailed and are not refundable should a client cancel an order during the styling process. Most custom orders can be met in the four week period described above for general wigs. Should more time be needed this will be included with your invoice and indicated by a longer "ship by" date. By completing a purchase invoice you are agreeing to the terms for a custom order and a possible longer "ship by" date.
Restyles
Past clients with wigs that they would like to have restyled may request this service. If a restyle is possible will depend on the current shape that the wig is in. This can only be determined in person and so restyles need to be shipped to us to examine. If a wig no longer has the elasticity to hold a new style we will return the wig at the clients cost or dispose of it. The client will be given the option to purchase a new wig should this be the case. We are happy to accommodate past clients who request this service with the understanding that costume wigs do not last forever. Fibers lose smoothness and elasticity over time. Timelines for restyles are determined once the wig has been examined the "ship by" date will be indicated on your PayPal invoice, we generally re-ship a restyle in seven business days. Restyles are $35.00 plus shipping and handling to your location. The wig will be shipped in a new box pinned to a foam head. When returning a wig for examination it may be mailed in a zip lock bag for convenience. To request a restyle please fill out the restyle form and email it to us directly.
